Stop Abusing ISLAM!

Hey there & Assalamualaikum,

Recently, there's been a lot of abuse upon Islam. Well, as a Allah's slave (Muslim), I would like to request everyone out there to STOP abusing Islam. You might not see the beauty of Islam, I won't blame you, since you don't understand Islam at all. Islam is beautiful, in al-Quran, it is mentioned that we (Muslim) should never tease/insult other religion for you (Non-Muslim) have your own rights with your religion. So please again, STOP abusing Islam.

Islam are now labelled as "terrorist". This is totally a FALSE STATEMENT. Need me remind you who the first started the attack on Afghanistan, Iran & other Muslim's country? Even though there's not a solid prove to show that those countries involve in the attack?

Don't let one man action judge the whole community. I'm not asking much, just your concern.

One the one hand, you accuse us of thinking all you guys are terrorists, and plead for us to not judge your religion on the actions of just a small minority.

Then you tell everyone to stop abusing Islam and to stop doing what's listed above, even though it's only a small minority who consider muslims to be terrorists. It's really hypocritical and shows a greater persecution complex at work, so I think the issue isn't really the greater majority but you.

I understand Islam (on a very basic level), and I have to say...
They're a much nicer religion than most.

The religion teaches anti-violence, equality for women, and much more compared to other religions.

Sadly, like every religion, it has a huge problem.
Nominal members, who support the religion by their lips, but reject it in their actions.

Until people distinguish between the bands in religions, expect a lot of stereotyping from those who don't truly understand.

I don't hate Islam. I hate religious extremists that love their religion so much that any criticism that is brought against it causes them to freak out and attack those people. For example, I could say that I don't agree with something in the Bible. A religious Christian extremist would probably call me the devil and burn a cross outside of my house.

The Salem witch trials are another example. The Puritans believed that if you didn't work hard or talk when spoken to, you would get the shit beat out of you by your parents. I would have probably gone insane if I ended up there after waking up one morning. I guarantee I would have a rosary shoved up my ass and a gun pointed at my face by the end of the day. On second thought, that would be a hilarious picture moment. I could frame it. Then I remember that there were no cameras and I would be sad.

I mean it's good having a belief system, but there is a reason why we have the separation of church and state in more developed countries. It's because interpreting laws that were made a thousand years ago based on old traditions of religions is extremely barbaric.

Might I remind you that terrorists harbored in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan were responsible for killing many thousands around the world. The terrorist group that murdered thousands of innocent men, women, and children on September 11 came from those nations.
The Americans were not "terrorists" for invading those nations (and actually improving the conditions there while they were at it).

I'll put it this way, in my class I have 2 Muslims, they have NEVER been discriminated against, I do not think that Islam is a terrorist training camp system in disguise, it is just another religion.

And, religion is idiotic, flawed, pointless and time-consuming. If you want to pray about something that some guy a LONG time ago said is true then you can, I won't stop you but I still see it as flawed.

I will use the words of the Greek Philosopher Aesop: "A man had bad luck, so he prayed and prayed to the wooden statue that was his god. He kept praying but his luck never changed, eventually the man got so angry at this that, in a fit of rage knocked the statue down, the statue broke and when it did it spilled gold coins all over the floor".

Moral: Religion is a scam.

Have a nice day, and know that racism against Muslims is getting rarer, the ignorant people just need a scapegoat. It's unfortunate that most terrorists are/were Muslim.

Okay, good story, but Islam is NOT just another religion, ok?
Like in al-Quran, there's a story of Nabi Ibrahim.
His ppl worship & pray to a wooden statue, but he is chosen by Allah to spread Islam to his ppl. So, one day, he bash all the "gods" statue and place the axe he used on a largest statue there is.
When his ppl enter the temple or something, they ask him, who broken the statue, Ibrahim answered : "It's the statue" The ppl dint blieve him, cuz there's no way a statue can move, so Ibrahim ask them bak, why did they pray to it.
The ppl cant answer anything bak, so they burn him.
By Allah's will, the fire turns cold, the ppl start to worship him & thought thats he's a god. But he quickly replied, Im not ur god, Allah is.

So, the story tells that, ur story have a point, but Islam is not juz another religion, we dint pray a statue or symbol, or rock, or tree, we praising Allah, the king of the universe & beyond.
